Transpersonal Psychotherapy

This therapy is concerned with the recognition, acceptance or realisation of our innate impulse towards peak or uplifting experiences, such as may be noticed on a spiritual path. In relation to Humanistic therapy, it may be considered to be the next stage on from self-actualisation, although it is not as clearly defined as this in practice. Transpersonal psychotherapy may also be concerned with the psychodynamic processes which prevent or block the internal experiencing of such states.
