Mindfulness Therapy

This is sometimes a standalone therapy and sometimes incorporated within other therapeutic approaches. A therapist encourages people to develop a Mindfulness Practice to help them become curious about the actions of their mind. It is these actions which have got in the way of being effective and causes us problems. It is about coming into awareness in our mind, by encouraging us to be here now. It’s not about getting somewhere in particular. There is no goal although a side effect is that it may be relaxing and reduce problems.
